Amitabh Bachchan recently referred to his son, Abhishek Bachchan, as “just a normal being” while responding to various tweets that praised Abhishek. The veteran actor took to X (formerly Twitter) to share his own thoughts on the appreciation directed at his son.

Amitabh Bachchan Admits Abhishek Bachchan Faced Unnecessary Nepotism

One user noted how Abhishek has often been unfairly labeled a victim of “nepotism,” pointing out the impressive number of quality films in his portfolio. Amitabh responded, “I feel the same… and not just because I am his father.”

Another fan shared the trailer for Abhishek’s upcoming film, Be Happy, and complimented him on his performance. To this, Amitabh replied, “Abhishek, you are extraordinary. Your ability to adapt and transform with each character is an incredible art. Love you, Bhaiyu.”

In response to a video showcasing Abhishek’s appearance at the HT India’s Most Stylish Awards, where he was noted for his charisma. Amitabh commented, “Superior… Abhishek… stunning… the walk, the grace, and THE STYLE… no fuss, just a normal being… away from unnecessary displays of excitement or attention-seeking.”

This isn’t the first time Amitabh has publicly acknowledged Abhishek’s talent. Following the release of Abhishek’s film I Want To Talk, Amitabh took to his blog to express how the film resonated with him. He wrote, “Some films invite you to be entertained; some films invite you to BE the film. I Want To Talk does just that. It invites you to BE the film… Abhishek, you are not Abhishek; you are ARJUN SEN of the film. Let them say what they may.”

Currently, Amitabh Bachchan is hosting the popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) 16. His most recent film appearance was in Vettiyan, where he starred alongside legends Rajinikanth, Fahadh Faasil, and Rana Daggubati. Abhishek’s latest project, I Want To Talk, premiered in theaters on November 22 of last year, and he will soon be featured in Be Happy, which releases on Amazon Prime Video next week.
